Care Instructions

Every LASH Fetish Gear item is handmade with love using high quality materials in my small atelier in Berlin. Please follow these instructions to ensure lasting quality:

Leather

Leather is skin, and just like your skin, it needs to be cleaned when it’s dirty. However, and unlike your skin, it doesn't moisturize itself. Every time you wash or even just use your gear, it loses a little or a lot of it’s moisture and oils. So you need to add it back with a leather conditioner or leather oil.

To clean your gear, dust frequently with a clean, dry cloth. After use, wipe away any moisture (especially around the studs and buckles). If the item is soiled, wipe with a soft, damp cloth and a lather of mild cleaner and lukewarm water. Avoid water marks by not getting the item too wet. Always patch test your cleaning solution on a small, hidden area. Exercise extra caution when rubbing stains on lighter coloured leather. Apply leather oil or lotion to keep your item in the best shape possible.

After this, I recommend adding some leather oil or leather protector with a soft cloth. Do this as a last step once in a while or when you feel the leather getting dry.

The best way to store your garments is always hanging and protected from the sun light.

Vegan

Chain

Fill a small bowl with water and add a little detergent, such as hand-washing gel, dish soap, or shampoo. (A few drops are enough to give the metal parts of the Harness a clean, fresh smell).

Put the metal parts of the harness in the bowl and leave it there for a maximum of 1 minute. Take the metal Harness out of the bowl and wash it with running water. With a clean dry towel, rub off any moisture and hang up to dry.

Once the metal harness is dry, store it in a dry place. Keep the harness in a cool, dry place. Do not store the harness in a plastic bag.

Warning:

Never wash the harness in the washing machine.

Never put the harness into the water for more than 1 minute.

Do not store the harness in a damp or wet place.

Make sure your item is fully dry after every use.

All garments utilize nickel-plated hardware. If you have a nickel allergy please use the contact form to inquire about hypoallergenic options
